Choma was the first blend we ever created at ZALT. It was inspired by the aromas of smoky, Swahili grills that fill the air at sunset, this is truly the essence of Zanzibar. A combination of hand harvested sea salt, the flavors of garlic and ginger with mustard seeds & toasted coriander seeds - an absolute game changer on beef or chicken!
This pouch contains coarse ZALT, and can be poured straight into the refillable grinders. Alternatively use freshly ground from a pestal and mortar, or use as is, for a crunchy texture; as a dry brine or to pre-season meat and season pasta water.
