ZALT Signature blends feature sea salt which is solar evaporated using time honored methods. Our Artisan farmers, harness the perfect convergence of pristine waters, coastal winds and equatorial sunshine, unique to the Zanzibar Archipelago. We only use locally sourced produce, which we dehydrate in-house to our precise requirements. This means we lock in all the flavour and nutrients at the peak of their freshness. All blends are all natural, vegan and gluten free. Nyota is subtle, yet fragrant blend. Star anise evokes the exotic, whilst crisp apple and aromatic fennel add a sweet, layered depth. This blend pairs beautifully with chicken, is a match made in heaven with fish and is the perfect pairing for pork. We also love it freshly ground on goats cheese or flung over steaming, buttered popcorn. This pouch contains coarse ZALT, and can be poured straight into the refillable grinders. Alternatively use freshly ground from a pestal and mortar, or use as is, for a crunchy texture; as a dry brine or to pre-season meat and season pasta water.
